One profile, eight tools

A shared handle profile means a shared grip — and parts that can be replaced instead of thrown away.

Project notes

Overview

A fictional homeware start-up asked for a kitchen set for people with very little space and very high standards.

Challenge

Eight tools, one shelf, and no compromise on how each one feels in the hand.

Approach

Everything nests. A single capsule form holds the set; every tool’s handle shares one profile so the family reads as one object.

Process

Foam models, 3D prints and cast prototypes tested in real kitchens over three months.

Outcome

A production-ready range, packaging that doubles as storage, and a repair guide for every part.
